You spent all that time in the library but still have yet to learn not to judge a book by its cover. I’m slicing every “frenemy” that was a friend to me till my enemies are no longer one another..

Found myself stuck in gaze, heart racing through a maze, thought it was a couple of hours, found out it was a couple of days..

Temptations treat staring me right in the face, got angels all around me to resist the taste, feeling weak in the knees as I Jordan palmed her waste, wishing I could unsee the look of your face..

I never try to, but I always find myself hurting the person within, trusting you with this heart of mine was a sin, all I ask from God is to forgive me and let me win..

Why do they use me man? It’s so confusing man, how you can give your all to someone while they mislead the man, asking him to never change while they continue to abuse the man..

But it’s a new day, a better Jay, a rebirth of a King. I’m like Simba on pride rock as he roared with a ring. I will continue to be an eagle and soar through the sky with my wings. Standing tall against my haters over looking what they bring.
